Canada-US Crude Pipeline Restarts

03 December 2007 14:17

Canadian pipeline company Enbridge says it expects the rest of its Canada-to-US crude pipeline system to return to normal within days after an explosion at the Minnesota section of the line last week.

Three of the four lines in the system, which accounts for more than ten percent of US crude oil imports, have already restarted with the last of them expected to return by early next week, a spokesman for the company told Reuters.

The explosion on Line 3 in Minnesota last week killed two workers and forced the entire system to shutdown.
