17 December 2007 17:11

BP has begun pumping natural gas at the Cashima field off the coast of Trinidad, Bloomberg reports.

BP says the field, 72km east of Galeota Point, has a gas output capacity of 750 million cubic feet a day.

Extraction follows the start of production at the nearby Mango field last month.
