Providence Begins Drilling in Nigerian Field18 December 2007 14:33 Independent exploration company Providence has announced it will start drilling at the AJE-4 appraisal well offshore Nigeria in the first quarter 2008. Drilling will allow Providence to "further assess the ultimate reserve potential of the AJE field" by fully appraising its hydrocarbon bearing potential. The AJE partnership is composed of Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum Company (YFP), Operator Chevron Nigeria Deepwater H (CNDL), Vitol Exploration Nigeria, Energy Equity Resources (EER) and Providence.
