North Sea Storm Shuts StatoilHydro Production04 January 2008 15:28 Norwegian oil company StatoilHydro has shut down production at its Veslefrikk oil field and reduced staffing at two other fields due to a storm in the North Sea. Crews have been reduced to a minimum at the Veslefrikk and Visund fields, and at the Oseberg Sør platform. A company spokesman told Associated Press that production at Oseberg Sør and Visund is expected to continue as normal.
