UK Website To Encourage Offshore Safety

A new information sharing website for the offshore industry has been launched as part of a national programme to improve safety on offshore installations.

The UK-based partnership Step Change in Safety, which has been tasked with making the UK the safest Oil and Gas Exploration and Production province in the world by 2010, is behind the site.

Step Change says the website has been designed to encourage communication and help ensure good practice is shared within the wider industry.
