Shengli Oil Field Production Up

Chinese oil company Sinopec (China Petrochemical Corporation) says oil production at its Shengli oil field produced 27,708t of oil in 2007, 120,800t above target.

The company says it is using enhanced recovery techniques at Shengli to improve production, writes official Chinese news agency Xinhua.

The Shengli field, located in eastern Shandong Province, is the country's second largest oil field after Daqing oil field in northeastern China.
