Aker Kvaerner has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Shell UK and its Norwegian business Norske Shell to support subsea control systems in the North Sea.
The contract will cover provision, installation, commissioning and life-of-field support.
The framework agreement, which is worth between £20m and 30m, will run for five years, with five optional one-year extensions.
Delivery of the terms of the agreement will be managed from Aker Kvaerner Subsea's operations in Aberdeen, Scotland.
