Canada's Talisman Energy will buy a 3.06 percent stake in Indonesia’s Tangguh LNG project from the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) for US$212.5m, writes website energycurrent.com.

CNOOC will hold a 13.9 percent stake in the project after the sale and purchase of the interest is complete.

The BP-operated Tangguh LNG development is located in West Papua, Indonesia, from where gas will be exported from two wellhead platforms via a 22km pipeline.
