Swedish company Lundin Petroleum has made an oil discovery believed to hold between three to five million standard cubic meters of recoverable reserves, according to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
The discovery is located approximately 50km northwest of the Ula field in the southern part of the North Sea.
Operator Lundin has a 50 percent stake in the field, while Talisman Energy has 30% with the remaining 20% owned by the Norwegian Energy Company.
