27 February 2008 10:23

Transportation services provider GulfMark Offshore has reported higher than expected quarterly profits, with net-income earnings of US$12.7m.

Revenue rose about 33 percent to US$91.5m.

Higher day rates in the North Sea and demand for advanced support vessels contributed to the earnings, which are down from US$30.6m a year ago.
