Oil Prices Set New Record High

17 April 2008 12:36

Oil prices set a record above US$115 a barrel today as a drop in US gasoline inventories raised concerns of tighter supply.

Oil has hit new peaks for three consecutive days with London Brent setting a record of US$113.38, writes Reuters.

A US Government report yesterday revealed a drop in crude inventories and a larger-than-expected decline in stocks of gasoline.
