Nigeria Seeks US$1.9bn From Oil Deals

The Nigerian Government is seeking US$1.91bn it believes is owed by Shell and ExxonMobil under the terms of oil production sharing contracts governing two offshore fields, according to officials.

Nigeria is asking for US$850m from Shell and US$646.3 from Exxon, which it says accrued to state oil company NNPC as capital allowance from the Bonga and Erha fields, writes Reuters.
