FMC Technologies has won a $400m, four-year subsea tree frame deal from Petrobras for work offshore Brazil.
Under the contract, FMC will manufacture 107 subsea trees and associated tools for use in 6,500ft water depths.
FMC's Rio De Janeiro-based facility will be the hub of all engineering and manufacturing activities.
Deliveries are expected to begin in 2012.
