Energean Oil & Gas SA has agreed to acquire a 100% stake in Israel's Tanin and Karish gasfields through its wholly owned subsidiary Ocean Energean Oil and Gas Ltd from Delek Drilling Limited Partnership and Avner Oil Exploration Limited Partnership.

The deal involves a purchase consideration of $148.5m, and royalties associated with production from the fields.

The Tanin and Karish fields are located in the north of exclusive economic zone of Israel. The fields hold contingent and prospective resources of 14.3MMbbl and 4.3MMbbl of condensate respectively.

Siccar Point Energy Limited has bought an 8.9% stake in Seaward production licences in the Greater Mariner Area in the UK North Sea from JX Nippon Exploration and Production (UK) Limited.

The Mariner Field is part of the Greater Mariner Area and one of the biggest remaining oilfields in the UK North Sea.
