TechnipFMC plc, Linde AG, and Research and Design Institute for Gas Processing have reached an agreement to establish a joint venture to offer engineering and design services for natural gas liquefaction (LNG) projects in Russia.

Approval for the joint venture was received from the European Commission. NIPIgazpererabotka is controlled by Sibur Group. 

Monadelphous Group has been awarded a $453m contract by Woodside to provide gas asset general maintenance services and brownfields offshore implementation for its production facilities off Western Australia's north-west coast.

Monadelphous will offer maintenance, shutdown services and offshore brownfields implementation for Woodside’s Karratha Gas Plant, Pluto LNG, North Rankin Complex, Goodwyn A platform and Angel platform. 

"The contract will run for five years and features two options that would each extend it for a further 12 months."

Cairn Energy subsidiary Capricorn Energy has secured interests in two licences in the Gulf of Mexico through an offshore bidding process.

Blocks 7 and 9 are located in the shallow waters of Sureste basin in the Gulf of Mexico at maximum water depths of 500m.
