Wood Group has received a contract from Statoil to provide a front-end engineering and design (FEED) study for the subsea flow-line system of Snorre Expansion Project in the Norwegian North Sea.

The contract succeeds a concept study conducted in late-2016. FEED work will be performed by Wood Group from its office in Stavanger, Norway.

Seadrill unit North Atlantic Drilling has received a ten-year contract from ConocoPhillips Skandinavia, a subsidiary of ConocoPhillips, to supply Gusto MSC CJ70-X150A design jack-up drilling rig, West Elara.

The rig has the capacity to drill depths as far as 450ft and will be deployed in Greater Ekofisk Area in Norwegian North Sea.

Scheduled to start in October, the contract involves a period of fixed day-rates until March 2020.

SNC-Lavalin has received a $35m lump-sum turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from TGI SA ESP (TGI).

Under the contract, SNC-Lavalin is responsible for design, supply, construction, commissioning and start-up two compressor stations over a 12-month period. 

The new compressor stations will increase TGI’s transportation capacity by 32 million standard cubic feet a day between Paratebueno and Villavicencio cities in Colombia.
