Dresser-Rand Group has secured a $700m contract from Tupi and Guara to supply compression equipment and services.
Under the contract, 80 Datum compressor trains will be installed on eight replicant floating, production, storage and offloading vessels.
Six of these vessels will be located in the Lula field and two in the Guara oilfield, Brazil.
Dresser-Rand will also provide aftermarket and maintenance services for ten years.
Petrobras is the operator of the Tupi field with a 65% interest, BG Group holds 25% and Petrogal Brasil and Galp Energia each have 10%.
Petrobras is operator of the Guara field with a 45% interest, BG Group holds 30% and Repsol-Sinopec has 25%.
