By GlobalData"We are very pleased to be able to strengthen our business relationship with Apache as this new project award follows the recently secured multi-year North Sea frame agreement and the successfully completed installation works for the Coniston Field Development Project in north-west Australia."
Apache and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration discovered the Julimar and Brunello gas fields in 2007.
The fields are located in offshore exploration permit WA-356-P, around 180km west-northwest of Dampier in Western Australia.
The Julimar development project is expected to unlock more than 2.1 trillion cubic feet of sales gas from both fields, generating net sales to Apache of about 140 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd) of liquefied natural gas (LNG), 22 MMcfd of sales gas into the domestic market and 3,250 barrels of condensate per day.
