France-based Technip has secured two contracts worth €100m for Phase 1A of Tullow Oil’s Jubilee project, off the coast of Ghana.

The Jubilee field is located at a water depth of 1,300m. The scope of work includes full project management, engineering, fabrication and installation of a new flexible riser, two rigid flow lines and 11 spools, as well as two manifolds and 5km of umbilical cables.

The contracts will be carried out by Technip’s operating centre in Paris, France, and will be supported by its offices in Texas, US, and Ghana.

The risers will be produced at the company’s facility in Le Trait, France.

Technip said it will use its Global 1200 and Deep Pioneer vessels to carry out the offshore installation work, which is scheduled to be complete during the second half of this year.

Following the successful completion of the first phase of Jubilee in 2011, Technip said it was pleased to have been selected by Tullow and its partners for this second phase.
