Offshore support vessels (OSV) provider Vallianz has secured long-term charter contracts with a combined value of up to $115m for four vessels.

The company received these contracts from a national oil company (NOC) in the Middle East and from two offshore marine services companies based in Egypt and Turkmenistan.

The contracts, which bring the company’s chartering services order book to about $1.03bn in aggregate, will also enable it to enter the Central Asian and Middle Eastern markets.

Vallianz CEO Ling Yong Wah said: "Vallianz is one of the largest OSV providers in the Middle East and has now expanded our footprint to include Egypt.

"Our first contract win in Turkmenistan will also enable the group to access a new market in central Asia."

Under the first contract with an Egyptian company, one OSV has already been deployed in the Red Sea for a three-year charter.

"Our first contract win in Turkmenistan will enable the group to access a new market in Central Asia."

Vallianz will commence charter of another OSV at the end of this month under a new contract with a Turkmenistan-based company for three years. The vessel will be deployed in the Caspian Sea.

For the NOC, the company will deliver two maintenance and accommodation OSVs for five years, which is extendable for another two years.

Vessels will support the NOC’s maintenance operations and accommodation requirements for its Arabian Gulf offshore oil and gas activities.

Set to be added to the group’s existing fleet of 52 OSVs, the vessels are expected to start operations from the first half of next year.

Singapore-based Vallianz provides offshore support vessels and integrated offshore marine solutions to the oil and gas industry.
