Finland-based global welding automation leader Pemamek Oy and its North American subsidiary Pemamek LLC, have named Michael Pavlock Regional Sales Manager, Texas Region.

Pemamek provides welding automation technology and integrated manufacturing solutions to a wide range of industries including shipbuilding, heavy fabrication, oil and gas, wind energy and boiler manufacturing. The company offers welding positioners, column and boom units, roller beds and robotic solutions as well as proprietary PEMA WeldControl programming and control software.

Michael Pavlock will head the sales efforts for PEMA brand equipment and solutions throughout Texas, the Gulf Coast states and Oklahoma. His experience in the metals and metal fabrication industries as Regional Sales Manager at Metaltech Service Center, Inc. (Mobile, AL) and as an Account Specialist at Texas Iron and Metal (Houston, TX) have provided Pavlock with a thorough understanding of the characteristics of different metals, the best welding and joining solutions available, and the ability to successfully communicate this to new and existing customers.

“Michael brings to Pemamek a wealth of knowledge about the industry, materials, and the welding process which allows him to make quick entry into the welding automation marketplace,” said Michael Bell, Director of Sales, Pemamek North America, LLC.

Pavlock will be instrumental in familiarizing manufacturers in the Texas region with Pemamek’s automated robotic welding solutions, including its PEMA WeldControl Welding Automation Software, a forward-thinking approach in which the software communicates in concert with the workpiece automation devices, welding power supply and visioning systems. This new technology increases throughput by allowing advanced programing of the workpieces to enhance workflow.

Pemamek applies all welding technologies, including GMAW, SAW, Laser Hybrid and multi-gun systems to significantly increase throughput on heavy fabrication lines. Single units of equipment can be combined with robotized welding, integrated milling and custom assembly stations to fulfil specific productivity requirements.
