The KAEFER Group, one of the world’s leading providers of complete insulation solutions, has signed two major maintenance agreements. Both contracts involve extensive maintenance works on oil and gas platforms as well as on onshore plants.

Statoil has recently signed a maintenance agreements covering insulation, fire protection, scaffolding and surface protection on platforms, production vessels and land-based plants in Norway. The largest assignment was handed to KAEFER ENERGY. KAEFER’s Stavanger-based enterprise will be responsible for works on nine different platforms and one onshore refinery. The contract is worth in excess of €600m over eight years (the next four years fixed, additionally two options of two years). This will create over 400 new jobs at KAEFER ENERGY in the next years.

KAEFER Integrated Services Australia has received a seven-year contract for a major oil and gas multinational. The revenue from the contract will amount to approximately €200m over the next seven years. Between 200 and 300 additional staff are expected to be employed on a continuous basis. The scope of work includes insulation, fire protection, scaffolding, and surface protection as well as other tasks such as electrical and planning services. The works will be carried out on two onshore plants, a marine terminal and onshore pipes.
