KAEFER Opens New Office in Aberdeen

On 23 August 2010 the KAEFER Group, one of the world’s leading providers of complete insulation solutions, announced that they have opened a regional office in Aberdeen, UK.

The KAEFER Offshore Aberdeen facilities are located at Greenrole trading estate, Dice.

The company’s local team will provide extensive services for the offshore industry, including a wide range of insulation applications as well as interior outfitting, surface protection, access management, engineering and project management.

KAEFER’s offshore division is headed by Craig Rose. Craig joined the group in 2009 after 29 successful years in the industry. He is based in Teesside, UK, and will oversee the start-up of the Aberdeen office.

The local staff will be able to rely on a large international network of insulation experts within the group. KAEFER generated revenues of €1.2bn in 2009. The group’s core business areas are industry, offshore, shipbuilding, construction and aerospace. Headquartered in Bremen, Germany, the company has operations in more than 50 countries and a current workforce of 17,000.

“Our new Aberdeen office helps us to provide the best possible service for the area’s offshore industry,” Craig Rose said. “The local staff will ensure the same high-quality that KAEFER has become known for around the world.”
