US-based company Exxon Mobil’s IT hiring an increased 11.7% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 14.78% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 26.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.12% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Exxon Mobil IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Exxon Mobil, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 60.14% in June 2021, and a 54.95% growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 16.43% in June 2021, and registered a 42.42% an increase. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.69% in June 2021, a 55.56% rise from May 2021.
South & Central America drives IT hiring at Exxon Mobil
South & Central America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 56.29% share, which marked a 35.29% growth over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 27.27%, registering a 34.48% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.34% share and a 51.85% growth over May 2021.
In the fourth place was North America with a share of 2.1% and a month-on-month an increase of 500%.
Brazil commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 35.31% share in June 2021, a 36.49% growth over May 2021. India featured next with a 20.98% share, up 46.34% over the previous month.Argentina recorded a 20.98% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Exxon Mobil IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.02%, up by 27.68% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.18% share, a growth of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 2.8% share, up 300% over May 2021.
