The largest producers of natural gas in Argentina are YPF, Techint Group and TotalEnergies. YPF was the largest producer of natural gas in 2022 with output up by 4% on 2021.
Techint Group was the second-largest producer, with output up by 18%, and TotalEnergies was third with a decrease of 1% on the previous year.
There are 154 natural gas producing fields in Argentina of which four are located offshore and the rest onshore. The Neuquen Province has the majority of the natural gas fields in the country with 67.
