To further develop Chevron’s connections with a global workforce that will help fuel its future growth, the company is expanding its long-term partnerships with top universities around the world through its recently
launched multidimensional University Partnership Program.

Chevron’s initial partners will include 16 universities, from countries as diverse as Australia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, the US and Venezuela. Each university has unique strengths and is considered, in one way or another, to be “best in class&rsquo”.

A senior Chevron executive will lead the programme at each university. Working with university officials to identify opportunities for a strategic partnership on long-term initiatives will promote various aspects of education, research and recruiting.

Tailored partnerships

Customised programmes are being built to optimise any potential synergies between Chevron and each university. Funding alone does not provide the best benefit to the universities or to Chevron, so the programme will also engage Chevron employees in creating and sustaining these relationships.
