A18-FA Conventional Gas Field, Netherlands

A18-FA is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Netherlands and is operated by Petrogas E&P Netherlands. The field is located in block A18a, with water depth of 157 feet.

The field is owned by Viaro Energy, Abu Dhabi National Energy, EBN and MB Holding.


Production from A18-FA

The A18-FA conventional gas field recovered 42.64% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 67 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 25.56 Mmboe, comprised of 153.35 bcf of natural gas reserves. A18-FA conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
