A18-FA Conventional Gas Field, Netherlands

A18-FA is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Netherlands and is operated by Petrogas E&P Netherlands. The field is located in block A18a, with water depth of 157 feet.

The field is owned by MB Holding, EBN, Abu Dhabi National Energy and Viaro Energy.


Production from A18-FA

The A18-FA conventional gas field recovered 49.39% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 67 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2053. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 22.54 Mmboe, comprised of 135.26 bcf of natural gas reserves. A18-FA conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
