Agadem Complex is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Niger and is operated by China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development. The field is located in block Agadem Block.
An expansion project is associated with the Agadem Complex, namely Agadem Phase II. This project is currently in the construction stage, expected to start in 2021.

Production from Agadem Complex
The Agadem Complex conventional oil field recovered 18.64% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2021. The peak production was approximately 110 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2048. The field currently accounts for approximately 100% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 436.41 Mmboe, comprised of 436.41 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Agadem Complex conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.09% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
