Aktobemunaygas Fields is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Kazakhstan and is operated by CNPC-Aktobemunaygas. The field is located in block Kenkiyak (Sub-Salt), Kenkiyak (Post-Salt), and Zhanazhol.

Production from Aktobemunaygas Fields

The Aktobemunaygas Fields conventional oil field recovered 59.24% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 124.61 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 326 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2062. The field currently accounts for approximately 7% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 661.09 Mmboe, comprised of 289.62 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2,228.85 bcf of natural gas reserves. Aktobemunaygas Fields conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.14% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
