Alligin is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in the UK and is operated by BP Exploration Operating. The field is located in block 204/19a REST OF BLOCK EXCLUDING FOINAVEN and 204/20a REST OF BLOCK, with water depth of 1,686 feet.

Production from Alligin

The Alligin conventional oil field recovered 45.93% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 6.66 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 6 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2028.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 5.91 Mmboe, comprised of 5.54 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2.25 bcf of natural gas reserves.
