American Energy Partners records 45.22% decrease in production in April 2020

American Energy Partners recorded a decrease of 45.22% in total oil and gas production to 312.54 boe/d in April 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of American Energy Partners declined 69.43% in April 2020 from 1,022.23 boe/d in April 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 45.11% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production grew 35.37% to 75.4 bd in April 2020 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 53.85% to 1.38 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 85.73% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production declined by 10.8%. Out of the total oil and gas production in April 2020, oil production held a 24.12% share, while gas production held a 76.13% share.


Looking at the states where American Energy Partners recorded the highest oil and gas production in April 2020, Oklahoma figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 312.54 boe/d in the state in April 2020, a decrease of 45.22% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,166.13 boe/d in Oklahoma in 2020, recording a decrease of 45.11% from the same period in 2019.



American Energy Partners witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Hughes county in April 2020. Out of all the counties, Hughes county held a share of 81.49% for the firm. The company produced 254.7 boe/d in Hughes county in April 2020, a decrease of 51.07% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,956.88 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 41.44% decrease from the same period in 2019.
