Atlanta is a producing heavy oil field located in ultra-deepwater in Brazil and is operated by Enauta Energia. The field is located in block BS-4 (Atlanta), with water depth of 5,081 feet.

Two expansion projects are associated with the Atlanta heavy oil field, namely Atlanta Full Development System (FDS) Stage 1 and Atlanta Full Development System (FDS) Stage 2. The expansion projects are currently in the approval stage.

Production from Atlanta

The Atlanta heavy oil field recovered 16.62% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 24.12 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2036.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 101.4 Mmboe, comprised of 101.4 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Atlanta heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.23% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
