B-80 is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in India and is operated by Hindustan Oil Exploration. Discovered in 1997, B-80 lies in block MB/OSDSF/B80/2016, with water depth of around 984 feet.
The project is currently in commissioning stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2021. The development cost is expected to be $43 m. The B-80 conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately two wells and includes subsea trees, manifold, mobile offshore production unit (MOPU), and FSO.

Production from B-80
Production from the B-80 conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2021 and is forecast to peak in 2022, to approximately 4,850 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 15 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2047.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 13.9 Mmboe, comprised of 10.87 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 18.19 bcf of natural gas reserves.
