Badik is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Indonesia and is operated by PT Pertamina Hulu Energi . Discovered in 2010, Badik lies in block Nunukan, with water depth of around 230 feet.

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024.

Production from Badik

Production from the Badik conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2037, to approximately 1,698 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 60 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 83.03 Mmboe, comprised of 12.82 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 421.26 bcf of natural gas reserves.
