Baeshiqa is a conventional oil development located onshore Iraq and is operated by DNO Iraq. Discovered in 2019, Baeshiqa lies in block Bashiqa.

The project is currently in commissioning stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022.

The field is owned by Kurdistan Regional Government, Botas Petroleum Pipeline and DNO.


Production from Baeshiqa

Production from the Baeshiqa conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 6,749 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2047.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 28.11 Mmboe, comprised of 28.11 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
