Production from Bangura
The Bangura conventional gas field recovered 83.35% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2013. The peak production was approximately 0.34 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 111 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2033. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 17.68 Mmboe, comprised of 0.51 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 103.05 bcf of natural gas reserves. Bangura conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
