Banyu Urip Complex is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Indonesia and is operated by PT Pertamina EP Cepu. The field is located in block Cepu.

The field is owned by PT Asri Dharma Sejahtera, PT Petro Gas Jatim Utama Cendana, PT Blora Patragas Hulu, PT Sarana Patra Hulu Cepu, Exxon Mobil and PT Pertamina (Persero).

Production from Banyu Urip Complex

The Banyu Urip Complex conventional oil field recovered 39.20% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 218.61 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2057. The field currently accounts for approximately 13% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 811.19 Mmboe, comprised of 811.19 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Banyu Urip Complex conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.18% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
