Barque Conventional Gas Field, UK

Barque is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Shell U.K. The field is located in block 48/13a ALL and 48/14a REST OF BLOCK, with water depth of 265 feet.

Production from Barque

The Barque conventional gas field recovered 97.64% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1997. The peak production was approximately 0.18 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 217 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 3.8 Mmboe, comprised of 0.01 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 22.71 bcf of natural gas reserves.
