Berbigao Sul is a conventional oil development located in ultra-deepwater in Brazil and is operated by Petroleo Brasileiro. Discovered in 2014, Berbigao Sul lies in block Sul De Berbigao, with water depth of around 7,527 feet.
The project is currently in construction stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022. The development cost is expected to be $2,607 m.

Production from Berbigao Sul
Production from the Berbigao Sul conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2027, to approximately 26,594 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 12 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2076.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 195.38 Mmboe, comprised of 181.89 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 80.91 bcf of natural gas reserves.
