Blackwatch Conventional Gas Field, Australia

Blackwatch is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Australia and is operated by Beach Energy. The field is located in block VIC/L1 (V), VIC/P 42 (V), VIC/L33, and VIC/L34, with water depth of 180 feet.

Production from Blackwatch

The Blackwatch conventional gas field recovered 15.58% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 0.3 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 7 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2042.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 3.65 Mmboe, comprised of 0.74 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 17.45 bcf of natural gas reserves.
