Brae East is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by TAQA Bratani. The field is located in block 16/3a ALL and 16/3b ALL, with water depth of 403 feet.

The field is owned by Viaro Energy, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, Centrica, Stadtwerke Munchen and Abu Dhabi National Energy.


Production from Brae East

The Brae East conventional gas field recovered 99.55% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1995. The peak production was approximately 67.34 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 643 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2023.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 2.76 Mmboe, comprised of 0.22 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 15.24 bcf of natural gas reserves.
