Britannia is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Chrysaor Production (UK). The field is located in block 16/26a AREA B – BRITANNIA FIELD AREA, 16/27b BRITANNIA FIELD, 15/30a AREA S – BRITANNIA FIELD, 15/29a ALDER FIELD, 15/29a BRITANNIA UOA, and 16/27c BRITANNIA FIELD (CONTRACT AREA 2) PART B, with water depth of 652 feet.

Production from Britannia
The Britannia conventional gas field recovered 96.22% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2000. The peak production was approximately 37.68 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 694 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2028. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
