The field is owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil, BP, TotalEnergies, China National Petroleum, GS Energy, China ZhenHua Oil and Inpex.


Production from Bu Hasa

The Bu Hasa conventional oil field recovered 69.79% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1973. The peak production was approximately 680 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052. The field currently accounts for approximately 11% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 3,331.15 Mmboe, comprised of 3,331.15 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Bu Hasa conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.69% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
