Cheyenne Petroleum records 15.81% decrease in production in March 2020

Cheyenne Petroleum recorded a decrease of 15.81% in total oil and gas production to 4,788.67 boe/d in March 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Cheyenne Petroleum grew 31.22% in March 2020 from 3,649.29 boe/d in March 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 28.22% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production declined 17.55% to 3,961.76 bd in March 2020 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 5.78% to 4.73 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 32.75% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production rose by 11.13%. Out of the total oil and gas production in March 2020, oil production held an 82.73% share, while gas production held a 17.03% share.


Looking at the states where Cheyenne Petroleum recorded the highest oil and gas production in March 2020, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 4,153.43 boe/d in the state in March 2020, a decrease of 14.37% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 13,385.14 boe/d in Texas in 2020, recording an increase of 9% from the same period in 2019.



Cheyenne Petroleum witnessed the highest oil and gas production in La Salle county in March 2020. Out of all the counties, La Salle county held a share of 68.02% for the firm. The company produced 3,257.08 boe/d in La Salle county in March 2020, a decrease of 13.85% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 10,452.44 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 23.41% increase from the same period in 2019.
