Chinwol is a conventional oil development located in deepwater in Mexico and is operated by Repsol Exploracion Mexico SA de C V. Discovered in 2020, Chinwol lies in block R02-L04-A29, with water depth of around 1,522 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025.

Production from Chinwol
Production from the Chinwol conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 15,967 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 8 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2069.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 99.39 Mmboe, comprised of 91.54 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 47.06 bcf of natural gas reserves.
