Chiswick is a producing unconventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Spirit Energy North Sea. The field is located in block 49/4a BLOCK 49/4A (CHISWICK AREA), 49/4b ALL, and 49/4c BLOCK 49/4C (CHISWICK AREA), with water depth of 138 feet.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Stadtwerke Munchen and Centrica.

Production from Chiswick

The Chiswick unconventional gas field recovered 71.68% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 1.19 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 81 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2048.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 18.17 Mmboe, comprised of 1.12 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 102.29 bcf of natural gas reserves. Chiswick unconventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional gas fields globally.
