Clipper South is a producing unconventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Ineos UK Sns. The field is located in block 48/19a CLIPPER SOUTH AREA, 48/19c CLIPPER SOUTH AREA, 48/20a CLIPPER SOUTH AREA, and 48/20b ALL, with water depth of 85 feet.

Production from Clipper South

The Clipper South unconventional gas field recovered 73.28% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2017. The peak production was approximately 0.23 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 77 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2044.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 11.23 Mmboe, comprised of 0.26 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 65.86 bcf of natural gas reserves. Clipper South unconventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional gas fields globally.
