Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste is a producing unconventional oil field located onshore Argentina and is operated by Shell Argentina. The field is located in block Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste.
Two expansion projects are associated with the Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste unconventional oil field, namely Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste Phase I Development and Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste Full Field Development . The expansion projects are currently in the construction and feasibility stage, targeting start-up during 2021 – 2025.

Production from Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste
The Coiron Amargo Sur Oeste unconventional oil field recovered 47.00% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2019. The peak production was approximately 1.48 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2031.
