Coulomb Phase 2 is a producing conventional gas field located in ultra-deepwater in the US and is operated by Shell Offshore. The field is located in block Mississippi Canyon 613 and Mississippi Canyon 657, with water depth of 7,570 feet.

Production from Coulomb Phase 2

The Coulomb Phase 2 conventional gas field recovered 16.46% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 7.49 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 87 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 71.19 Mmboe, comprised of 23.55 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 285.89 bcf of natural gas reserves. Coulomb Phase 2 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
