Field participation details

The field is owned by Shell and Gas y Petroleo del Neuquen.

Production from Cruz De Lorena

The Cruz De Lorena unconventional oil field recovered 12.42% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 10.81 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 6 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2045. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 50.81 Mmboe, comprised of 46.32 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 26.99 bcf of natural gas reserves. Cruz De Lorena unconventional oil field reserves accounts 0.06% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional oil fields globally.
